Ronald Baggerman One of the most complete albums I've heard in a while. Great tapguitarplaying of bass- and guitarparts , played at the same time, wonderful singing, lots of humor which brings Frank Zappy to mind, some echoes of Led Zeppelin very tastefully blended, it takes elements from all styles of music, without sounding pretentious. Well arranged. It's an album I would have loved to make! Kudos Mr. Wright and keep up the good work! Favorite track: Dis(-)Assemble.

Brian H Jim is at the top of the game with his playing, and this album showcases his compositions as well. At times rocky, fusiony, funky, and soulful. A fully realized musician and writer, this is an essential for music fans, and to have your mind blown at the versatility of Jim’s touch guitar technique. Favorite track: Vishnu (Vitchoo).

Back in those days so many fine musicians on the stage truly a golden age for those who hear the music more than the words I know you've been told disco bimbos were the rage but we were on another page not content to run with the herd Once upon a time a war-weary nation struggling with racial integration assemble for the music of improvisation echoes of an earlier emancipation this carried into the next generation augmented with electronic amplification but now we're livin' in the age of the pop sensation Used to be musicians ruled now they're gone and called Old School (we ain't no fools...we just throw some samples in Pro Toooooooools) Tattooed chumps and little girls Advertising rules this world Spoken: It's a great way to teach the kids that being a obnoxious poser is OK, and it doesn't matter if they're talent-free! Now we have Autotune to polish the turds 'cause these divas sing like flightless birds Up in Wisconsin they're trying to save Clyde Stubblefield from an early grave Look him up on your little TV phone and see what he done back bone slips and breakin' hips and playin' on the 1 Don't it seem the slightest bit mean that this icon can't get access to a dialysis machine? where are all the dudes who stole from the man who put the rhythm to J.B.s soul? Plastic pop big bucks fashion show too much pop hip hop so what? Corporate pop still sucks

Hey... I've got somethin' to say Been sittin' in the car all day Feel like I'm drivin' my whole life away If that's true Somethin' I had to do now when I'm waitin' at the drive-thru it's like I'm chillin' in my livin' room I'm workin' hard to pay off the credit card Ain't enough hours in the day (had to cut the budget to the bone, 'cept for talkin' on the telephone) but I'll be comfy in my ride Eating fast food all the way And so.... Every morning it's giddy-up and go thru the rain and the sleet and the snow if ya wanna be a playa in the big show beware...there's a lot of pressure out there it'll have ya pullin' on your hair you'll end up with the Thousand Yard Stare It's so damn hard to pay off the credit card and I get no time to play! (had to cut the budget to the bone, 'cept for talkin' on the telephone) but I'll be comfy in my ride Eating a whole lotta fast food on the way That's why... I've got the SUV Physique Burnin' that gas just to get your fat ass around town You've got the SUV Physique Nothin' says class like a rollin' rec room with tinted glass. It ain't good to make assumptions about conspicuous consumption everybody wants to be a king no one tries to be a chump, son Livin' large is the new fashion and all the burger joints can cash in In Cali there's a light truck passion until there comes a time to drop a dime or two and fill the tank up

I walked The Plank (R) so many years and in the end it was a waste of my time I tried to make it sound like this and for my troubles I was told that I was wrong (but I don't mind) You and your boys have tried to bury me in a true definition of (CONSPIRACY!)... Everything you say was done to you I've seen you to to someone just like me You'll never change And I think you left your mind somewhere in 1977 Are you deranged from all the carpal-tunnel pain? both hands grasping right hand perpendicular left wrist strained you'll never change I saw the super duper hollow plastic Megaplank(R) a lovely color photograph It's just the same, nothing ever changes in your world I wanna thank you for a much needed laugh Don't ever change and i think you left your mind (ooh yeah) somewhere in 1977 are you deranged from epididymitis pain? Both hands grasping right hand perpendicular left wrist strained you'll never change (wash, rinse, repeat)

Thank You 02:34
For many years now I have worked upon this strange collection of wayward songs with wayward melody and time I've been underground Don't tend to socialize and when our lives so often take us into new directions and when good fortune fails and friendships fall to petty crimes I don't hang around most often I've found this to be unwise Yet in these complicated times I see no reason we should be unkind or even so inclined and I would hate to spoil the mood while I am feeling so much gratitude Thank you for the gifts you gave me and for all your love that saved me memories of sunsets golden and for all the moments stolen Thank you for the fondest wishes and for all the tasty dishes kisses when I first awaken all the ventures undertaken in this life the best that we can do is help each other through and that's why I am thanking all of you those of you who life abuses thank you for the cuffs and bruises all receive and all get taken if I am not too mistaken if we do not learn the lesson ready for another session? Throw the dice and then we choose sometimes we win sometimes we lose here's what I learned singing the blues... Life just ain't fair

Now I lay me down to sleep content my soul is mine to keep should I die before I wake Meet me at that clear blue lake 'cause that's where I'll be I just cannot buy that story (visit every night) It's only an allegory Walking on the western shore I'm sorry but you're mistaken (hidden in plain sight) and hope one day you'll awaken Knocking on an oaken door We'll see the forest through the trees The writing's on the wall, just read between the lines We'll strike a pose and shoot the breeze and reacquaint ourselves with being in that place outside of time

Now we live in this plastic world made from half forgotten dreams never sure...nothing's as it seems Dis(-)Assemble we come and go and justify our lives with philosophy so frail and blind faith guaranteed to fail that's life it's easy come and go compared to most I'm just a lucky so and so and death no need to fret and moan just think of it as going home has always lost and found you proof of this is all around you Now.
